Voice message from Cristina from Spain

I’m so XmuchX grateful
I’m so/very/really/extremely grateful

‘Near’ and ‘close’ have very similar meanings when you talk about distance:

“My friend lives near the sea.”
“My friend lives close to the sea.”

“My sister and I are very close” = We have a good relationship.

“I’ve travelled near and far.”

“A near-death experience.”

“Everyone was standing close together.”

Voice message from Daniel from Switzerland

It’s ‘right up my alley’
